Intex a Netbook from India

Recently a computer peripheral firm from India named Intex announced a new netbook, the N101-WC1100.

The Intex netbook is actually the same with all those netbooks abundant in the market. Specific technical details are it has been designed on an Intel Atom platform and also the popular Atom N270 1.6GHz processor. The system also has the standard 1GB of RAM memory, a 160GB SATA hard drive, integrated Intel GMA 950 graphics and a LED backlit 10.1-inch display. It weighs in at 1.2kg, battery included, and we hear that it can be upgraded with 2GB of RAM.

The 10-inch netbook also packs wireless 802.11 b/g networking and Bluetooth and is said to be capable of providing users with about 4 hours of battery life. The netbook also brings a 1.3MP webcam, a 7-in-1 card reader and 10/100 Ethernet LAN connectivity.

A unique mark about this product is the sleeky design that will surely appeal to young consumers. The netbook is available in two designs, the chic red and the elegant black.
